Canada's Prime Minister is dividing Canada yet again! 

Pressure is increasing on Justin Trudeau, who has said there will be no more carve-outs on the carbon tax.

In a speech to his caucus, Poilievre accused Trudeau of turning Canadians against each other as the federal Liberals are dipping in the polls. 

Canadians across Canada need to heat their homes - winter is coming and inflation is high.

The N.D.P has in past supported the Liberal government on carbon pricing and are now saying that they will support the Conservative motion that is subject to a vote tomorrow.

Will the N.D.P. vote keep the tax on lower-emitting natural gas heat for which bills will be jumping even further in mere weeks as it gets colder as it has in past?

Or, will Jagmeet Singh and the N.D.P. support Pierre's bill to stop the tax on home heating for all Canadians?

Canadians will watch closely tomorrow, to see if the new Conservative motion to extend the pause on carbon tax to all forms of home heating will be supported by the NDP.

This will be the 22nd time since 2017 that the Conservative Party has presented motions or bills aimed mostly at gutting or repealing the carbon tax.

Dear Prime Minister Trudeau,

You have now admitted that your carbon tax is not worth the cost. In pausing the tax on home heating oil until after the election, however, you plan to keep the tax on lower-emitting natural gas heat for which bills will be jumping even further in mere weeks as it gets colder.

There is no way to justify applying taxes on cleaner sources of heat especially when half of Canadians are living $200 away from insolvency and nearly two million have used a food bank in a single month, the highest figure ever recorded.

That is why common sense Conservatives are offering our full cooperation to pass an emergency bill tomorrow to axe the carbon tax on all forms of heat before winter heat bills hit Canadians next month.

You have now flip flopped and admitted taxing heat will not help the environment. You must be consistent and keep the heat on and take the tax off now for all Canadians.
